Group Purchasing Data Support Specialist (m/f/d)

  • Provide Expert Support: Assist the Group Purchasing Tactical Data Object Owner and Operational Data Object Owners in implementing group-wide data standards and quality criteria. Your expertise will guide the management of data objects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring excellence at every step!
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Be the vital link between the Group Purchasing Tactical Data Object Owner, Operational Data Object Owners, and other stakeholders. Your communication skills will foster effective collaboration on data and mapping rules, driving success across the board.
  • Monitor Data Quality: Dive into data quality metrics using Celonis process mining, including the creation of data quality reports and tracking of improvement measures. Identify opportunities for enhancement and work hand-in-hand with local teams to tackle challenges head-on. Your analytical prowess will help elevate our data integrity to new heights! 
  • Conduct Training: Support the Tactical Data Object Owner in creating and conducting engaging training sessions for Operational Data Object Owners and Purchasing team members. Ignite enthusiasm for data governance and empower your colleagues to embrace best practices and standards!
    Assist in Data Migration: Play a crucial role in the data migration process, ensuring that data validation procedures are meticulously followed and that data integrity shines through.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep our data processes, standards, and training materials organized and accessible, ensuring transparency and facilitating knowledge sharing within the team.
    Support Data Catalog Management: Help maintain our global data catalog and metadata repository, ensuring that all data objects are accurately documented and compliant with our high standards.

What makes us successful together

 

 

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in purchasing and data governance, data management, or related roles.
  • Proficient knowledge of purchasing software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management tools; experience with SAP/HANA is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and support regional initiatives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a passion for collaboration.
  • Fluent English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
