Manager Cloud Applications (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • As Manager Cloud Applications (m/f/d) you are as a Chapter Lead part of a team responsible for the development of exciting functions like connectivity, energy management and over-the-air update for smart and sustainable heating systems
  • You will lead a chapter of software architects and developers who implement, test and maintain microservices and serverless functions in our Azure Cloud in agile cross-functional teams using state-of-the-art methods and tools
  • You will provide individual development to developers and architects as needed, taking into account upcoming technology and business challenges
  • You ensure that defined standards and architectural principles are adhered to during development in your chapter. You actively shape these and drive technological and methodological improvements, thus contributing to a holistic system architecture
  • You will work in a cross-functional team with product owners, architects, scrum masters, other chapter leads and developers to increase development efficiency and quality
 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • You have successfully completed your university studies in computer science (or comparable) and bring profound professional experience in the development of cloud platforms with microservice architecture
  • You are experienced in Java and Spring Boot and bring knowledge of modern development methodologies and tools as well as continuous integration and automated testing
  • You are experienced in leading a team of software developers and know how to coordinate an external software supplier
  • You are familiar with using agile development methodologies such as SCRUM and have a high level of quality awareness.
  • You are fluent in German and English in day-to-day business
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit coupled with a high degree of initiative and motivation round off your profile
