Head of Group Compliance (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You will be able to work out of and the position can be located at one of Vaillant Group’s major European business locations.
• In this position, together with your team, you are responsible for dealing with all compliance matters of Vaillant Group group-wide, esp. in the focus areas of anti-trust, data protection, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and export compliance 
• You will be responsible to further develop Vaillant Group’s compliance strategy and the compliance management system 
• You organize the day-to-day operations in the compliance focus areas, incl. handling and/or supervising cases with governmental authorities
• You will initiate, organize, and lead group-wide and cross-functional compliance projects
• You will provide direct and indirect disciplinary and functional leadership for the compliance team currently comprising of 9 employees in several countries

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• You have successfully completed your law degree with honors from a reputable university and have a minimum of 8 years of broad professional experience in compliance topics in a top-tier law firm or a multinational company
• You have very good skills in leadership and have already led teams, ideally intercultural
• You have very good knowledge of compliance methods, principles, standards, processes and systems, economic and intercultural understanding and an affinity for digital market topics and developments 
• Your strong project management and implementation skills as well as your proactive, self-driven work attitude and motivation set you apart
• Your fluent English and excellent communication/networking skills allow you to establish a trustful collaboration on all levels
