Compliance Counsel Germany (m/f/d)


  • In this position you will focus on the implementation, update and improvement of the Compliance Management System in Germany which includes, e.g., reviewing, setting-up and/or improving the current compliance methods, principles and culture
  • You will provide (legal) advice and effective solutions on local compliance questions and matters, in particular in the areas of anti-trust, data protection, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering, as well as prepare compliance reporting to Vaillant Group Compliance and top management
  • Monitoring EU and German legislative developments in relevant compliance areas to analyse need for and carry out actions required or meaningful. 
  • Select and manage/supervise external partners such as law firms or communication agencies is also part of your responsibilities 
  • You will be the sparring partner for local and Group management on compliance matters
  • As part of the Group-wide training management, you will be responsible for the implementation and further development of compliance training contents and methods in Germany


  • You have successfully completed your law studies with both German state exams, ideally at least one with distinction (Vollbefrie-digend)
  • You can already draw on several years of work experience in a renowned (ideally international) law or auditing firm or a (ideally multinational) company
  • You bring in-depth knowledge of compliance methods, principles, processes and standards and ideally experience in antitrust matters
  • With your excellent communication and networking skills you act confidently on all levels
  • Assertiveness, perseverance, and a strong willpower as well as a forward-looking way of working make you a suitable candidate
  • Your business fluent German and English skills complete your profile
