What we achieve together

Smart Customer Solution is a department within Vaillant Group IT developing software platforms that can be composed to an integrated customer journey. Our development teams are formed considering domain driven design and each delivers an own frontend, backend and APIs to other apps. Our teams have end-to-end responsibility and work in Scrum. The team member we are searching has deep technical knowledge and wide experience in software development and would get fun deeply working with the team in pair or even programming. 

• You will ensure the highest quality of the Planning Platform by applying the best testing practices as well as design Tests Scenarios and transform them into tests cases on different levels of application  
• Ensuring that the acceptance criteria for the delivered functionality are met is important to You
• You will work with Frontend and Backend developers to provide the most important paths in Vaillant Customer Journey and cover them with automated tests  
• Cooperating actively with Platform Owner to understand requirements and maximize positive User Experience is Your high skill
• You will build trust of our Customer ensuring documentation of product meets the criteria of success

What makes us successful together

• You have an university degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field and at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in tests automation in tools like Selenium, Robot Framework, JUnit, pyTest, Cucumber, TestNG is what makes you a successful candidate
• You are efficient in at least one programming/scripting language like Java/JavaScript or Python as well as you are able to write database queries and understand data exchange formats (XML, JSON) 
• Knowledge of Playwright,TypeScript, cloud solutions (MS Azure, Terraform) and containers solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) is needed
• You are efficient in setup and maintenance of tests automation environment  
• You are a good team player and you are experienced working with different agile way or software development 
• Strong desire to learn new skills – also outside your current professional area is necessary
• You are open to share your knowledge and experience with other team members as well as operating in English at an advanced level
