- You are responsible for the implementation, automation, operation and further development of data processing pipeline and data integrations.
- You contribute your know-how to the constant extension and improvement of the data hub infrastructure and work close with data scientists and engineers to understand their needs and requirements
- You design the data integration architecture and infrastructure together with the architects and embed and integrate it in the existing setup.
- You are part of an agile team and as such actively participate in all relevant events.
- You are responsible for the creation of and work on the backlog items, the plan for achieving the agile team goals and ensuring a jointly agreed quality level, among other things
- As a Senior you will technically lead the development in your team, which includes implementation and operation, but also methodically develop and evaluate alternative technical concepts and select the best option.
- You will independently derive work packages, implement them and supervise others during implementation
What makes us successful together
- Experience: at least 6 years of project-related experience with large parts of our tech stack (Java, Python, Stream Processing, Apache Kafka, Databricks, Azure Datalake, Azure Kubernetes, GitHub CI/CD)
- Know-how and skills: extensive knowledge of modern data integration, processing and management tools; cloud knowledge (preferably MS Azure) and experience with data catalog and master data management tools.
- Personality: ability to mentor teams, foster a culture of innovation as well as flexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and business environments
- Language skills: Your business-fluent English skills and your open and trustworthy personality enable you to communicate confidently at all levels
