Group Purchasing Process & Project Support Specialist (m/f/d)

What we achieve together

  • Assist the Group Purchasing Process & Project Manager in planning, implementing, and optimizing purchasing processes within the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
  • Support the conduction of projects aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the purchasing department, including the implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Act as Data Management Officer for purchasing, supporting data management and data migration as part of the system implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Process World Team (DPW) to support the transformation of purchasing processes into the new SAP S/4 HANA environment.
  • Analyze existing processes and contribute to identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices in purchasing.
  • Prepare training materials and support the training of our employees in purchasing and P2P regarding new processes and tools.
  • Create reports and presentations for tracking progress and measuring results.

What makes us successful together

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Initial experience in purchasing, P2P, or supply chain management.
  • Proficient knowledge of purchasing software and tools.
  • Interest in project management, change management, and process optimization.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a passion for collaboration.
  • Fluent English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
