Maintenance Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Working as a member of the maintenance team, the candidate will provide multi skilled engineering and maintenance cover across the facility, working on various machines throughout the Belper Plant, from automated presses through to robot arms.
  • Duties will include the completion of all routine maintenance in line with the agreed site plan.
  • Repairing and maintenance of the plant and its equipment, to ensure faults are identified quickly and production down time is minimised.
  • Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes and ensuring all duties are undertaken in line with current health and safety legislation.
  • Taking part in proactive improvement projects to solve chronic and complex problems. 
 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • Previous experience as a multi skilled engineer.
  • Proven track record within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Conversant with PLC’s & knowledge of robots would be desirable.
  • Experience with CMM reporting system essential.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude and a flexible approach to working hours.
