Industrial clerks support many business processes. They gain practical experience in the areas of procurement, marketing, controlling, sales and human resources. Within materials management, they negotiate with suppliers and learn to control and monitor sales processes.

The Summer University is an initiative of the University of Wuppertal. The excursion to Vaillant is aimed specifically at young women who are interested in studying STEM subjects, i.e. mathematics, computer science, natural sciences or technology.
