• As Software Developer Embedded Linux you will be part of a team responsible for the development of exciting functions for HVAC products and systems such as energy management and over-the-air update based on an embedded LINUX platform.
• You will design, implement, test and maintain SW components using state-of-the-art methods and tools.
• You define E/E communication interfaces and contribute to flexible SW architectures in coordination with E/E architects and IoT backend architects.
• You will work in a cross-functional team with SHK product developers and IT experts, actively exchange ideas with global teams and contribute to our common way of working.

What makes us successful together

• Degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering or electrical.
• You have successfully completed your university studies in electrical engineering or computer science and have sound professional experience in the development of embedded systems professional experience in the development of embedded systems based on LINUX controllers.
• You are experienced in C, C++ and Python as well as in continuous integration and delivery of these systems with e.g. Yocto and GitHub.
• You are familiar with the related Linux software architecture from bootloader to kernel space to user space system tools.
• You are used to applying agile development methods such as SCRUM and you have a good awareness of quality.
• You are fluent English in day-to-day business.
