• Recommendation for product and process approval/release at series start (Product Part Approval) together with the project manager (Product Part Approval)
• Release of (bought-in) product components based on previously defined quality relevant features on the basis of specimens and documents of which the suppliers have provided proof of conformity.
• Ensure that the project leader gives a clear and transparent view of product endangering risks in the project FMEA.
• Ensure that the FMEA methodology is applied consistently and correctly as to the contents (over all levels of the system hierarchy). Release of FMEA documents (design, process, installation & service) in collaboration with IQ-PP and IQ-MM).
• Approval & release (validation) of the test plan and the test results.
• Define which functional feature relating to the product or the product components will have to be checked and at which point in the process value-added chain this check shall be done (at the supplier, goods receipt check, pre- and/or final testing, shipping audit, commissioning).
• Audit of the preparation, the execution and the assessment of results for the pilot run as required steps for production validation and release.

What makes us successful together

• Degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering or electrical engineering (bachelor), sound knowledge of product function in the field of heating technology.
• More than 6 years of vocational experience in quality planning, development and/or manufacturing, experience as an auditor, knowledge and confident application of quality methods (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Good command of the English language, preferably as well French language skills.
• In accordance with the policies and regulations of the country and the regions where Vaillant Group's subsidiaries operate, and based on the company’s practical needs, possession of relevant professional titles, certificates, licenses, or qualifications (whether related to your position at Vaillant or not) will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
