SAP S/4 IntraGroup Logistics Consultant

In your role as SAP S/4 IntraGroup Logistics Consultant:

  • You will develop and present end‑to‑end template solutions for product ordering and delivery processes within the Vaillant Group, including returns handling and discrepancy clarification, ensuring smooth and transparent logistics flows across our organisation.
  • Your responsibilities will include running fit/gap workshops with product owners and local representatives, analysing results and translating them into meaningful, actionable system adjustments that enhance cross‑functional business processes.
  • You perform SAP system customizing and execute user acceptance tests, including full documentation, ensuring a reliable and compliant solution setup that meets local and global requirements.
  • You conduct training sessions for key users and ensure all relevant documentation is up to date, enabling smooth adoption and confident use of new functionalities across the organisation.
  • Together with interdisciplinary teams, you coordinate external partners and service providers and actively participate in the cutover phase to secure a smooth go‑live and successful project closure.
  • By contributing your expertise to our IT Logistics team, you help shape efficient, future‑ready logistics processes that strengthen our digital transformation and support our mission of delivering sustainable solutions worldwide.

 

What makes us successful together

  • Qualification: You have completed your studies in business administration, economics, computer science or a comparable field, providing a strong foundation to understand and align business and technical requirements.
  • Experience: You bring experience in SAP R/3 Logistics Execution and IDoc/XML processing, ideally combined with knowledge of connecting third‑party logistics providers through interfaces, enabling seamless logistics data flows across systems.
  • Know‑how and skills: You ideally have experience in SAP S/4HANA (Inbound/Outbound, LOG MM SIT, sales and purchase order processes, warehousing, billing) and are familiar with agile working methods, allowing you to contribute effectively to dynamic project environments. 
  • Nice to have: Experience in connecting logistics service providers, as well as an interest in developing beyond your core subject area, especially in digital and interface‑driven topics, is welcome.
  • Personality: You bring a hands‑on approach, an open and trustworthy personality and a strong motivation to continuously learn, grow and improve both your own capabilities and those of your team, contributing to our digital future with collaborative and intercultural working skills.
  • Language skills: You communicate confidently in English in an international environment, enabling you to support colleagues and stakeholders across multiple countries and functions; German is beneficial but not mandatory.
