In your role as Working Student IT Security, you will contribute to strengthening the Vaillant Group’s cyber resilience and support a dedicated international team that protects millions of customers and our global business.
- Your responsibilities will include supporting our IT Security Consultancy activities by assisting with assessments, preparing guidance, and helping to clarify security related questions across the organization
- You will contribute to ensuring regulatory compliance with Cyber Security standards by analyzing requirements and supporting our internal compliance processes
- By creating and maintaining documentation, you help streamline security related processes and ensure transparency for technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Together with an interdisciplinary team, you are involved in improving our cyber security governance and supporting continuous enhancements in our protection measures
- After analyzing and evaluating business requirements, you support the adaptation of internal procedures to new regulations such as NIS2, CRA and NIST frameworks
- You will help drive a culture of security awareness by contributing to knowledge sharing initiatives and supporting internal communication efforts
What makes us successful together
- Qualification: You are an enrolled student in computer science, information technology, cyber security or a comparable study program
- Experience: You ideally bring first practical experience in IT or cyber security through coursework, labs, internships or prior student roles
- Know-how and skills: You have a basic understanding of key security frameworks such as NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and NIST, and you are motivated to deepen your expertise
- Nice to have: experience in process documentation, governance topics, audit preparation or regulatory compliance
- Personality: You work independently, enjoy learning, and bring a structured, reliable and proactive working style that helps move topics forward
- Languages: You communicate confidently in English; German skills are a plus
