- Leading the IT organization and team across applications, infrastructure & operations, project management, and IT security while shaping organizational structures, developing teams, and contributing to strategic business decisions.
- Driving IT strategy, prioritization, and implementation by identifying business needs, opportunities, and risks together with local business leaders and Group IT, while ensuring the successful delivery of strategic IT initiatives and compliance with Group IT and cybersecurity standards.
- Building reliable and future-ready IT capabilities by continuously improving systems, processes, and tools, strengthening ERP/SAP and business applications, and ensuring effective integration between local and global solutions to support evolving business needs.
- Ensuring sustainable IT performance and resilience by managing IT budgets, service levels, infrastructure capacity, availability, cybersecurity, business continuity, and supplier partnerships while balancing operational effectiveness, quality, risk, and cost.
- Collaborating with local and global stakeholders to drive digital transformation, enable effective change management, support governance and compliance, and continuously develop IT services and processes in line with Vaillant Group and relevant ISO standards.
What makes us successful together
- Qualification: A university degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. A master’s degree or doctorate in a relevant discipline is considered an advantage.
- Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience, with a strong track record of leading and developing teams and managing complex IT environments, will prepare you for this strategic role.
- Know-how and Skills: Strong expertise in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure and operations, ERP/SAP environments, IT service management, cybersecurity, data governance, business continuity, project management, and vendor & contract management is essential to drive business success.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English is required to work effectively in an international business environment.
- Personality: Proven leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, analytical thinking, change leadership, and decision-making capabilities will enable you to inspire teams, build strong partnerships, and achieve sustainable business results
