- As the SAP-TMS Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our SAP Transportation Management System projects.
- You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead end-to-end SAP-TMS project delivery, from initiation to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and rollout management.
- Lead fit/gap analysis workshop, functional & user acceptance testing and raise change requests.
- Raise template & local gaps to SAP-TMS process owner and support functional developments where needed.
- Manage project IT consultants (resources) and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with IT, supply chain, logistics, and business teams.
- Ensure SAP-TMS solutions align with global and regional business requirements.
- Establishment of SAP-TMS Analytics in cooperation with IT team and SAP-TMS process owner.
- Ensure material master data requirements for SAP-TMS implementation are communicated and documented.
- Coordinate with external vendors/consultants to ensure quality and timely delivery within budget.
- Provide regular updates to SAP-TMS process owner on project progress and outcomes.
- Recommend SAP-TMS roles assignment and organizational structure of the rollout entity.
- Determine training requirements for SAP-TMS users, create training materials using datango, and assign trainings to target users.
- Provide training session to SAP-TMS key & end users.
- Ensure documentation of business requirements and IT specification in Confluence and Jira.
What makes us successful together
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven experience managing SAP projects, specifically in SAP Transportation Management System.
- Experience with S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, WM, EWM) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Excellent project management skills (PMP, certification preferred).
- Strong & persuasive character with ability to influence others.
- Ability to conduct training sessions on site and remotely.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in English, and preferably German. Other European language is a plus.
