- In this role you will guide the technical foundation to achieve Vaillant Group’s AI strategy and targets, fostering an inclusive and innovative environment.
- You will collaborate with the AI Office / AI Compliance Board, IT Security, and platform teams to align responsible AI, security, and privacy standards while nurturing trust.
- You will monitor technology advancements in AI, including generative AI and AI agents, and assess cloud platforms such as MS Azure, M365, Salesforce, and SAP to inform strategy.
- In addition, you will design and maintain robust AI infrastructure, align architecture decisions with the Enterprise Architecture, and oversee AI/ML platform capabilities within the Digital Intelligence Platform.
- You will evaluate AI use cases, provide consultancy to solution owners, data scientists, and data engineers, and support prioritization and change management.
- Finally, you will translate complex AI concepts into management-level insights and facilitate alignment across stakeholders, enabling informed decisions and inclusive execution.
What makes us successful together
- Qualification: You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field with a strong AI background.
- Experience: You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, particularly in an Advanced Analytics / AI context.
- Know-how and skills: You have proven experience with generative AI, AI agents, and cloud platforms such as MS Azure, M365, Salesforce, and SAP, and demonstrated expertise in AI infrastructure design, architecture, and standards enforcement.
- Nice to have: You have knowledge of AI ethics, security, and privacy standards; experience with AI governance frameworks and change management would be a plus.
- Personality: You are a collaborative, empathetic, and proactive, with a passion for translating technical topics to management and enabling cross-functional collaboration.
- Language skills: You are fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus.
