In your role as Head of IT Governance and Services, you will provide strategic leadership for our global IT governance and shared services landscape, ensuring that Vaillant Group’s IT organization operates with excellence, transparency and integrity. You shape a framework that protects our business, enables innovation and ensures sustainable value creation across all IT4IT Supporting Functions.
- Your responsibilities will include shaping and continuously evolving the Group IT governance and services strategy so that policies, operating models and decision rights empower our business and reflect enterprise objectives without complexity
- After analyzing and evaluating business requirements, you define and maintain Group IT policies, control objectives and compliance processes, ensuring that risks are transparent, mitigated and governed in a structured and sustainable way
- By creating financial and asset transparency, you ensure reliable budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation and lifecycle stewardship, enabling the business to make informed and value driven decisions
- You lead the sourcing and vendor management framework, negotiate complex contracts, and ensure that strategic partners deliver measurable performance and contribute to long term value for Vaillant Group
- Together with an international network of experts, you define KPI frameworks, service performance dashboards and governance structures that ensure high data quality and provide actionable insights for senior executives
- You oversee demand management, portfolio steering and high quality delivery governance, making sure that resources, initiatives and benefits are aligned and executed consistently across all Group IT domains
What makes us successful together
- Qualifications: You hold a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, economics or an equivalent field
- Experience: You bring at least 12 years of global IT leadership responsibility, including 5 years of people leadership with proven capability to develop, motivate and empower teams
- Know-how: You have deep expertise in IT governance, service management, financial stewardship, risk & compliance, and vendor management, supported by strong architectural literacy and alignment to IT4IT, TOGAF, ITIL and COBIT principles
- Nice to have: Certifications such as ITIL 4, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001, IT4IT, TOGAF, FinOps or ISO/IEC 20000 would further strengthen your profile
- Personality: You are a collaborative and emotionally intelligent leader with strong strategic thinking, persuasive communication skills and the ability to guide organizational change in a complex international environment
- Languages: You communicate fluently in English; additional European languages are an advantage
