In your role as Head of IT Finance & Business Services, you will shape Vaillant Group’s digital foundation by ensuring that our IT solutions, services and systems enable efficient Record-to-Report and Hire-to-Retire processes worldwide. Together with an international team, you will reduce complexity, create synergies and unlock new possibilities for modern business models.

• Your responsibilities will include maximizing the value delivered to Finance stakeholders through optimized IT service and IT asset investments while ensuring cost efficiency
• After analyzing financial and business requirements, you identify solutions that align with enterprise strategy and directly enhance Finance operations across processes, applications, data and services
• By building strong, trust‑based partnerships with global Finance leaders, you jointly pursue strategic financial goals and ensure transparency in budgets, risks and priorities
• Together with your teams, you will manage and optimize the performance of our Finance‑related IT program and service portfolio, ensuring alignment with changing business priorities
• By shaping and implementing our IT operating model, you ensure that Finance receives consistent, high‑quality and reliable technology services that support compliance, accuracy and operational excellence
• You strengthen the organization’s digital maturity by defining future‑oriented roadmaps that improve financial processes, enable data‑driven decision making and support new business opportunities

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: You hold a master’s degree in business administration or a comparable academic background
• Experience: You have at least ten years of experience in global IT senior management, consulting or strategic planning and have led large international teams 
• Know-how and skills: You demonstrate strong expertise in enterprise solutions, such as SAP FI/ CO/ HR/MM, deep understanding of Record to Report and Hire to Retire processes, and proficiency in frameworks like COBIT, ITIL and Agile
• Nice to have: Experience in designing or implementing a global IT operating model, including governance and performance management structures
• Personality: You combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, inspire teams across cultures, and act with high reliability, clarity and emotional intelligence
• Language skills: You speak fluent English and German and are comfortable working in an international setting
