In your role as Head of Group IT – Data Management, you ensure that Vaillant Group’s data becomes a strategic asset that empowers innovation, analytics, and digital transformation worldwide. You make a meaningful difference by creating trust in data across the entire organization.
- Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a global Data Management strategy that aligns with our Group IT vision and advances enterprise-wide digital transformation
- You translate the DAMA DMBOK framework into practical, scalable standards and governance structures that strengthen global data ownership and ensure reliable, high‑quality data
- You contribute your domain expertise to evolve our data and analytics roadmap, including data catalogue platform improvements, governance enhancements, and enterprise-wide data quality initiatives
- Together with interdisciplinary teams, you drive key Data Management disciplines such as data governance, data quality, metadata management, master and reference data management, and lifecycle management to enable new digital use cases such as artificial intelligence and automation
- By evaluating emerging technologies and collaborating closely with architecture, cybersecurity, and business functions, you ensure compliant, secure, and efficient Data Management operations across all regions
- You lead and empower a global team of Data Management and governance specialists while fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
What makes us successful together
- Qualifications: You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Experience: You bring more than ten years of experience in Data Management, Master Data Management, or Data Governance in large international organizations, including several years of leadership responsibility
- Know-how: You have deep expertise in enterprise Data Management, especially DAMA DMBOK, and you are confident working with data modeling, metadata standards, integration patterns, and modern data platforms
- Nice to have: You are familiar with preparing data for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and analytics use cases
- Personality: You are skilled at guiding diverse stakeholder groups, navigating complex organizations, and driving change with empathy, clarity, and strong communication
- Languages: You communicate fluently in English; additional European languages are an advantage
