What we achieve together
- In this role you will manage the availability of products effectively so that OTIF targets are met by correctly placing purchase orders within necessary lead times to ensure material availability.
- Forecast and manage material requirements in line with the demand pattern whilst maintaining and delivering on time all KPI’s and business measures.
- Ensure quality issues are managed and resolved appropriately either directly with suppliers, internal/external customers or via Purchasing.
- Optimise and manage stock, observing appropriate financial targets and processes, along with seasonality.
- Maintain SAP/EPS systems with appropriate planning & stock parameters by material including van stock management.
- Co-operate in all operations to ensure coordination where necessary with the activities and requirements of other departments in the UK, specifically Vaillant Service and our commercial teams.
What makes us successful together
- Previous experience in a demand planning/forecasting role, SAP experience and an understanding of master data and MRP is essential.
- Qualifications - A Degree in business, supply chain or other a relevant field is preferable.
- A Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong statistical knowledge with Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Power BI knowledge and skills would be an advantage.
