- Your responsibilities will include supporting and managing mobile devices, particularly iOS equipment, while ensuring all devices comply with Vaillant Group mobile policies and enrolment standards.
- You will take ownership of the PC hardware lifecycle, coordinating deployments, replacements and new starter equipment to ensure colleagues receive reliable, well-prepared tools.
- Together with colleagues across all departments, you are providing first-line support, resolving user issues, analysing problems thoroughly and escalating to expert teams when appropriate.
- By coordinating technical troubleshooting activities, you help ensure smooth operations, minimise downtime and create positive technology experiences for all users.
- After analysing and evaluating user needs, you will contribute to small project tasks within hardware rollout and configuration topics.
- By adhering to corporate governance requirements, you help ensure compliance and operational excellence across all IT support processes.
What makes us successful together
- GCSE Maths and English Language at a grade 4 level or equivalent are required for this role, further additional qualifications in an IT related field are advantageous.
- You are eager to learn, open to guidance, and motivated to grow into the role, showing curiosity about how devices, operating systems and networks work.
- You enjoy helping people, communicate with patience and clarity, stay calm when solving problems and show commitment to developing your skills continuously
- You demonstrate strong learning agility, absorbing new information quickly and easily adapting when technologies or processes change.
- You demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and confidence in supporting both hardware and software — especially iOS mobile devices.
- You ideally bring knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments and hold an ITIL certification; however, this is not essential.
