- In your role, you will oversee and direct end-to-end payroll processing for three payrolls across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate payments across benefits, deductions, taxes and garnishments.
- Together with our outsourced payroll provider, you will coordinate postings, statutory reporting and submissions via internal systems and the government gateway.
- By creating, running and maintaining payroll reports in SAP, you will ensure data transparency and support informed decision-making across the business.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with external payroll consultants, acting as the primary contact and ensuring a collaborative and compliant partnership.
- Your responsibilities will include administering overtime, payroll changes, pay scale updates, allowance uplifts and contractual variations with accuracy and care.
- Through proactive reconciliations, analysis and audit readiness, you will support internal group audits as well as external payroll audits and contribute to continuous improvement.
What makes us successful together
- You have a strong professional background as an experienced payroll technician with full competence in SAP Payroll, including configuration, reporting and statutory processing.
- You bring proven experience managing complex payrolls across multiple legal entities and working closely with finance, pensions and tax functions.
- You have in-depth knowledge of HM Revenue and Customs regulations, PAYE, pension payments, holiday pay calculations and end-of-year processes such as P60 production.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and supporting payroll audits in a regulated environment would be an advantage.
- You work with a high level of integrity, accuracy and initiative, communicate clearly with stakeholders and remain calm and structured when working to tight deadlines.
- You apply a meticulous and structured approach to payroll governance, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and adherence to internal controls and statutory requirements.
