Production Welding Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Driving actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction objectives. 
  • Participation in the Daily Start-up/Accountability meeting as required.
  • Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production.
  • Working with NPI project engineers to implement new products to existing and new production lines.
  • Manage and present data to various levels of the organisation.
 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • Educated to degree level or HNC with relevant industrial experience in welding processes and production engineering.
  • A proven track record of welding process engineering, Stainless steel welding, MIG/TIG welding experience.
  • Knowledge of Manual and automated welding.
  • Knowledge of Post welding treatment knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate with cross functional teams plus a key team player is essential to this role, you will need to have good interpersonal skills and be a proactive engineer able to work with all levels of an organisation.
  • Able to drive process, change and development inn a demanding environment.
  • Possess a practical approach to problem solving using A3 / 8D problem solving methodology, analytical with experience of robust data driven decisions.
