Method Specialist (m/f/d) Requirements Engineering


  • Your task is the continuous further development of requirements engineering methods and user-oriented provision throughout the Vaillant Group
  • You will be responsible for the recording and classification of user feedback as well as the coordination and synchronisation with process and PLM/ALM tool experts to ensure a uniform way of working by documenting and updating the rules and regulations for the application of the methods
  • You will derive methods by coordinating and synchronizing with Process, Project and Tools teams for the Requirement Engineering/management, following documentation and user community interaction to familiarise the methods.
  • You will independently organise and conduct international workshops for the continuous improvement of existing Requirement Engineering methods, and you will also be responsible for planning and coordinating training courses on such methods.
  • You will be responsible for the conceptual development of the training portfolio, independently document selected training contents and qualify, commission and coordinate external training service providers
  • You will be responsible for organising and managing the expert community and the associated working groups, including the recruitment, induction and professional development of the experts from various specialist areas
  • You will ensure cross-departmental and cross-location user support, advise internal customers on the methods, take part in specialist conferences organised by external organisers and work actively in international and interdisciplinary teams


  • You have a Master's degree in business informatics, engineering, economics or similar and have several years of professional experience in the field of requirements engineering and management. 
  • You have real Industrial Project Engineering and process experiences and knowledge about Product and Application Life cycles.
  • You have a CPRE AL or CPRE EL certificate or comparable and are experienced in working with PLM/ALM solutions, preferably with Siemens Polarion Tool. 
  • Your excellent written and spoken German and English as well as your open and trustworthy personality enable you to communicate confidently at all levels. 
  • You convince with your strong communication skills, your motivating nature, empathy, initiative, organisational skills and enjoy working in international teams 
  • You want to drive our digital future forward  
  • You are willing to travel approx. 10 days a year in the course of your work
