Simulation Engineer FEM (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analysis :
    • Analysis of current designs w.r.t critical conditions (3D CAD data, boundary conditions...)
    • Interpretation of simulation results (deformations, stresses and strains in critical areas, comparison to literature and lab values)
    • Determination of capabilities and restrictions of FEM calculations for given case

 

  • Simulation :
    • Preparation of corresponding 3D models (reduction of complexity, ensuring meshability)
    • Meshing of the simulation model (generate elements)
    • Application of boundary conditions (loads, material properties, degrees of freedom)
    • Determination of design improvements and optimizations (e.g material and geometric adapation)

 

  • Organisation / Support :
    • Joigning international simulation workshops
    • Documentation of FEM know-how
    • Creating design guidelines
 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • A 5 year engineer degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finite Element Method (FEM)
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge in computational fluid dynamics would be desirable
  • Drive to shape our digital future
