DevOps Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You are part of a growing agile community creating the data backbone for the digital future of Vaillant
• As a member of a newly build team, you support the development and operation of a data hub and corresponding data interfaces 
• You are responsible for the implementation, operation and further development of Infrastructure as Code and contribute to the constant extension and improvement of the data hub infrastructure
• Together with the architects, you design the software data architecture and infrastructure and afterwards integrate it in the existing components
• While adhering to a jointly agreed quality level, you manage and work on backlog items to achieve the agile team’s goal.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• You have been exposed to the development and operation of data streaming and processing environments, such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Databricks
• You possess extensive knowledge of modern development methods and tools as well as continuous integration and automated testing and have at least 3 years of professional experience 
• Your business-fluent English skills and your open and trustworthy personality enable you to communicate confidently at all levels
• You are interested in learning and expanding your horizons.
