Regional Business Manager - Commercial Systems

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • A vacancy has arisen for a Regional Business Manager (Commercial Systems) with the aim to maintain existing contacts and contracts as well develop new business, grow sales, and create further opportunities within the commercial market.
  • The position resides within the Commercial Systems team, reporting directly to David Myddleton-Jones, National Sales Director - Commercial Systems.
  • This role will cover the following postcodes:
    • Scotland - AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, HS, IV, KA, KW, KY, ML, PA, PH, TD, ZE (16 Postcodes)
    • Northern England - CA, DH, NE, SR (4 Postcodes)
    • Northern Ireland – BT (1 postcode)
  • Responsibility for the sale of commercial products in the form of the ecoTEC 46 to 120kW wall hung boilers, ecoCRAFT 80 to 280kW floor standing boilers as well as the extensive range of ancillary equipment including rigs, pumps, controls and cylinders.
  • Liaise with customers form all aspects of the heating industry.
  • Knowledge of all Vaillant products would also be required including heat pumps to be able to deal with enquiries.
 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • Applicants will need to be highly motivated and experienced individuals who can demonstrate sales negotiation, call planning, presentational and IT skills. They must also have a good understanding of products and processes in this specialist market sector.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate on a technical sales level with people from all aspects of the industry including, contractors/installers, local authorities, specifiers/consulting engineers & end using clients.
  • The role will also require a close working relationship with all Regional Business Managers from other sales departments for any potential projects.
  • A driving licence is essential, and the role requires extensive travel in the sales areas of responsibility, with some overnight stays. There will also be occasional travel outside of the UK.
  • Good organisational and time management skills ensuring accurate recording of activities on CRM system.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office products
